What Is a TrxID? Meaning, Where to Find It, and How to Use It
A TrxID is the code a wallet gives to one payment. Here is where to find it, why shops ask for it, and why you should never treat it as proof by itself.
For online shops in Bangladesh
Customers send money to your bKash, Nagad or Upay number with an order reference. QRPayBD matches it to the payment SMS on your shop's Android phone and marks the order paid.
Free during early access. Never holds your money. No wallet PIN or password needed.
You only need an email, a password and your shop name.
Your money stays yours
Payments go straight to your account. QRPayBD never holds them.
No PIN, no password
We never ask for your wallet PIN, password or OTP.
Confirmed by real SMS
A payment counts only when its SMS arrives on your shop phone.
Many Bangladeshi online sellers take payment to their own wallet number, then confirm each order by looking at their phone.
Each order waits until you find the right message. A busy day or a late night, and the customer waits.
A screenshot can be edited. Matching the customer's TrxID and the exact amount to a message on your own phone is a stronger check.
Payment messages mix with personal ones. Customers ask 'did you get it?' and you go back to scrolling.
You set it up once. After that, orders confirm themselves.
Add the bKash, Nagad or Upay number your shop receives Send Money on. Customers pay straight to your account.
Install the QRPayBD Collector app on the Android phone that receives your payment SMS. Pair it with a code from your dashboard.
Your store sends the customer to a QRPayBD payment page. It shows your wallet number, the exact amount and an order reference (QP-XXXX). They use Send Money in their wallet app and type the reference in the app's Reference field. If the app has no such field, they enter the TrxID on the page instead.
The Collector forwards the payment SMS. QRPayBD checks the reference or TrxID and the exact amount, marks the order paid, and tells your store.
Free during early access. No card needed.
Orders confirm on their own when the payment message arrives.
The payment must match a real message on your phone, with the exact amount.
Money goes from the customer to you. QRPayBD never holds it.
A TrxID can confirm only one order. A different amount is not accepted automatically.
A payment that does not match goes to an inbox where you can match it by hand. Your dashboard tells you when your phone looks offline.
Create orders with a simple API and get a signed webhook when one is paid.
We mark a provider Verified only after checking our reader on real payments. The message readers for bKash, Nagad and Upay have been verified on real payments; Rocket and banks are planned.

Names are used only to say which payment messages we can read. QRPayBD is not affiliated with or endorsed by bKash, Nagad, Upay, Rocket or any bank. All names belong to their owners.
Trust matters more than features here, so this is the plain version.
Better you read this now than find out later.
The Collector app needs Android. iPhones cannot read SMS this way, so there is no iPhone app.
Payments are read from that phone. If it is off or offline, confirmations wait until it is back. Some phone brands stop background apps to save battery, so you may need to change a setting.
The Collector is not on Google Play, because Google restricts SMS access for apps like this. You install it from a file we provide.
We confirm payments by reading the SMS and matching the TrxID and amount. That is not the same as an official wallet API. For very high-value orders, also check your wallet app.
A store or developer connects to QRPayBD through an API. There is no WooCommerce plugin and no payment link you can send in chat yet.
Features and provider support are still growing. The message readers for bKash, Nagad and Upay have been verified on real payments; Rocket and banks are planned.
QRPayBD works with any store or app that can make a server-side request. There is no WooCommerce plugin yet.
POST /orders
Authorization: Bearer <your store API key>
Content-Type: application/json
{ "amount": 1250.00, "storeOrderId": "order-1042" }
-> 201 { "referenceCode": "QP-7F3K", "paymentUrl": "https://qrpaybd.com/pay/QP-7F3K", "status": "pending" }The customer sends money to your shop's wallet number with Send Money in their wallet app, using the order reference (QP-XXXX) shown on the QRPayBD payment page. If the app has a Reference field, they type it there and the order confirms itself. If not, they enter the TrxID on the payment page instead. The Collector app on your shop's Android phone forwards the payment SMS to QRPayBD. We check that the reference or TrxID and the exact amount match, that the message is recent enough to belong to this order, and that the TrxID has not been used before. If everything matches, the order is marked paid and your store is told. Matching by amount alone is an optional shop setting and is off by default.
No. Money goes directly from your customer's wallet or bank to your account. QRPayBD only reads the payment message afterwards and updates the order. We do not hold funds, and we do not send or receive payments.
No, never. QRPayBD does not ask for your wallet PIN, password or OTP. The Collector app only reads SMS on your phone. It does not log in to any wallet.
It depends on the provider, and we show the status of each one openly. The message readers for bKash, Nagad and Upay have been verified on real payments, and Rocket and banks are planned, which means not built yet. SMS is not an official API, so a message can be delayed, missed or reworded. Payments that cannot be matched go to the Unmatched inbox in your dashboard for manual matching. See the Providers section on this page for the current list.
QRPayBD works with the personal wallet number your shop already uses to receive Send Money. But bKash, Nagad and Upay may restrict business use of personal accounts in their own terms. Check your provider's terms before you rely on it. You, the shop owner, are responsible for that. QRPayBD is not affiliated with these providers and cannot give you their permission.
Planned, but not available yet. If we add it, shops would bring their own merchant credentials from the provider. Today QRPayBD works only by reading the payment SMS for personal wallet numbers.
An Android phone that receives your payment SMS, stays on and has internet. A QRPayBD account. And a store or developer that can connect through the API. The Collector app is installed from a file, not from Google Play. There is no iPhone app.
Not yet. QRPayBD connects through an API, so you need a store or a developer to create orders. There is no WooCommerce plugin and no payment link you can send in chat. If that is what you need, please check back later.
No. An official wallet API confirms payments inside the wallet system. QRPayBD reads SMS, so it depends on the message reaching your phone and on how it is worded. A made-up TrxID cannot confirm an order because no matching message arrives. A wrong amount is refused, and a TrxID works only once. But sender names in SMS can be faked, so for high-value orders also check your wallet app. Payments that do not match go to an inbox where you can match them by hand.
The app skips messages from ordinary phone numbers and drops anything that looks like an OTP, PIN or password message. It forwards only messages that mention a taka amount. Our server keeps the text of payment-related messages. Other messages are replaced by a placeholder instead of being stored. See the privacy draft for details.
Free during early access. There are no paid plans yet, and we will announce any change before it applies.
The page shows the shop's name, the amount, the shop's wallet number and an order reference. You pay inside your wallet app, not on our page, and QRPayBD never asks for your PIN or password. Check the shop name and amount before you pay. If anything looks wrong, stop and ask the shop.
